Beautiful paper. More possibilities.

I’m Ciara, the founder of Maison Velere—a mom, police officer, and someone whose love of design never really left.

For four and a half years, I worked in a design shop, where I discovered how much I enjoyed bringing beautiful things together. Maison Velere is my way of returning to that creativity and building something of my own.

The idea started while shopping for wrapping paper. I loved the designs offered by luxury brands, but I kept running into the same frustration: premium prices for a few small sheets. I wanted paper I was excited to wrap with, without having to wonder whether one sheet would even cover the gift.

That became the purpose behind Maison Velere: to bring together beautiful design, quality paper, and generous rolls at a price that makes sense.

My style is modern, minimal, and a little sweet. I’m drawn to thoughtful details and simple patterns—the kind you love when you first see them and look forward to using again.

To me, wrapping a gift is part of giving it. It’s choosing something with someone in mind, taking a little extra care, and enjoying that moment before they open it. I wanted to create paper that belongs in those moments.
